About The Race
Race History
Established in 1965, the Sudbury, Massachusetts July 4 Road Race is an annual town tradition and sanctioned by USA Track & Field. The 2024 running is the 60th running of the race.
Organizers
The race is organized by the Sudbury July 4th Road Race Committee, a group of Sudbury, Massachusetts residents and volunteers. We are proud to carry on the legacy of long-time organizers Bob Hall and Graham Taylor.
In 2024, we are pleased to welcome back community organizations Sudbury Family Network and Sustainable Sudbury to the race. If you are a Sudbury community organization and are interested in attending, please contact us.
